The book is exceptional for what it is and offers practical insight on how to connect all the dots in a legal brief. Brevity is how the author gets his points across.The only constructive criticism I have is that instead of including his briefs at the end of the book, King could have provided short written examples demonstrating the different strategies and techniques he raises. It would have provided an additional informative layer to the subject matter.
Are there some misspelled words and grammar issues? Yes, but so what, the points are well made, and at the lower price of Kindle eBooks most authors aren't going to shell out money for the high cost of hiring an editor.
Despite its compact size, this is one of the best eBooks on legal drafting. I've read many of them and this is a keeper.
Exceptional.

Given the price paid for this work I shouldn't complain. But I will. The handfull of typos made by the author kept rubbing me like a nascent blister. And the filler at the end (some of the author's old briefs) was uninstructive. Garner he is not. But I did pick up more than one or two good writing tactics. I also liked the author's tone and sense of humor.
